The route takes you from the Fontana di Orione, a Renaissance masterpiece by Montorsoli, to the Fontana del Nettuno, all the way to the Church of the Santissima Annunziata dei Catalani, an Arab-Norman jewel. Look out over the harbour to admire the golden statue of the Madonna della Lettera, who protects seafarers from the tip of the sickle-shaped spit.
